Depends on what level you are really.

At low levels especially sentinel and marauder feel boring but they are really fun at high levels/max level.

Guardian/Juggernaut is... just hilarious what you can do with Saber Reflect even as dps.

Pretty much leap in -> Saber Reflect -> let your influence 50 dps companion deal with ones that survived.

This is the path I should have taken...

OP, keep at it. My main is a Sent. That class is one of the more boring ones in the early stages. But at or around Levels 40-42 that changes dramatically and at Max-Level they are wickedly fun.

..but he's boring. His playstyle doesn't jive with me. So I'll just finish his story and never play him again. I'll try a Sith Sorcerer next.

Good for you. I was thinking about roasting a chicken this evening, but later I found out I didn't have any in the fridge, so I made an omelet with cheese and some sausage instead. I will probably have pork neck steak tomorrow. I will keep you updated.

Please do. I'm a vegetarian so I need to get my doses of animal products vicariously. :p

Not very friendly are you.

I think the point you're missing is folks don't see the reason why you;re posting what you did.

edit: If you have some explanation or details or reasoning to add to your original comment, maybe things would have gone better.

I actually enjoyed all eight stories, but not equally. The Jedi Knight story has some very cool moments, but I can also see where it may lose some interest. I hope you like the Sith Inquisitor story, it was by far my favorite of the eight (followed closely by the Agent, then Sith Warrior).... On the whole, I think the Imperial stories had more interesting dynamics to them, but like I said, I enjoyed all eight and have played all eight at least twice (and more than twice on more than a few of the classes).

I'm not concerned about the class stories. I'm only concerned with finding the most fun class to play. Because really, gameplay is determined by the class you play. If the class isn't fun to play then no amount of content will make it worth playing.

Although, class stories do make playing boring classes enticing just to see the story. That's one thing this game has over other MMOs.

Edit: I gotta say, story-wise, the Jedi Knight conversation options are a hassle to deal with.

Just reached level 42 and got Precision. I thought it was going to be some game changing ability. Turns out it's just a hassle to use. Don't think I'm going to make it to the end of the JK story before I dump him. Edited by Betterclass

It all comes down to personal taste. I am like you in that I really have to like the style of a class, and warrior/knight just leaves me bored somehow.

Little things make a difference to me. My powertech AP is pretty fun but I cannot bear the Vanguard equivalent. Same goes for powertech tank Shieldtech....I just do not like the Vanguard Shield Specialist. Troopers just do not get me interested.

In general I just like the BH and not the Trooper.

I like Concealment Operative but not Scrapper Scoundrel. I like both of them for healing, I like Ruffian ( the old Dirty Fighting) better than Lethality.

I like the Gunslinger but so far I am not really inclined to play a Sniper. I may but I have a feeling I'm not going to enjoy it as much. Purely a matter of esthetics ( although I'd make a 60-65 character, I played through the Agent story a few times already...and the sniper just does not feel like an 'agent' to me, whereas the Operative seems a great fit for the theme).

I like Sages and Sorcs equally, and Shadows and Assassins equally.

And, it can be very hard to know in the early levels as usually classes do not really "come together" until later levels.

At least the male has some personality.

Female JK makes even the snarky/silly responses (that sound good with the male voice) sound like she's on freaking sleeping pills or something. She has NO personality whatsoever. I kinda felt like Kristen Stewart is voicing my character.
