What content is available for two player coop?

Other than Heroics and story/class quests and side quests, what multiplayer content in the game can be completed by two players (and their companions)? I am playing the game with my daughter: We had no problem completing Esseles, but were unable to do the next one we tried (Hammer Station, maybe). Were we just not careful enough (we are self-admitted filthy casuals) or can Flashpoints be completed by two players or can some of them be completed this way, but not others? What was the problem in hammer station? The droid's laser beam? Companion healers should usually cleanse these, if one of you is the healer then the healer needs to cleanse the stacking laser debuffs at 5 stacks.

 

2 players and 2 companions (one of them healer) is usually easier than 4 random players especially when the players can talk to each other and don't need to use chat. In some FPs you just need to learn to tell your comps to get out of bad circles by setting them to passive.

 

At max level, all tactical FPs can be soloed, some HM flashpoints as well (the problem is usually dps checks), some classes fare better than others, but 2-manning them is just a matter of practice. (and getting companion influence, rank 20+ helps a lot)

 

Colicoid Wargames is the only flashpoint that actually has 4-player mechanics (button puzzles) but there are ways to bypass those.

It's a bit unclear - were you unable to start it, or unable to finish it?

 

If you weren't able to start it, perhaps you were in "Solo" mode. Try doing the normal H2 mode.

 

If you were unable to finish it, were you bringing two companions (one each) with you?

Unable to finish it. One companion each (set to healer). I guess we will try again.
