I'm not retreating. This happens iwth melee and standing in the middle of them, not moving at all.

For the last several weeks I have been having a problem with mobs rubberbanding to their oriinal spawn point and resetting to full health when in combat. Most of the time this is just a nuisance, but it can be more frustrating with challenging mobs who can reset multiple times to full health before I kill them. I don't show any network problems, my server lag is consistently below 30 ms, and I don't have any problems in any other games or internet usage, only SWTOR. My ISP is Spectrum and I am in the Northeast of the U.S. I've tried to Google the issue, but have not found anything. Any thoughts on what might be causing this or how to troubleshoot it? Thank you! EDIT: Just to clarify, I am not retreating while fighting. This happens in melee standing right next to a mob, even If I'm not moving at all.

My favorie bugs (sorry if these have been mentioned already): * The 5.0 graphics update causes artifacts and tearing on Intel graphics processors * Companions' worn armor is not shown in certain cutscenes * Companions become invisible or disappear underground * A guarded companion frequently (always?) loses guard when across area transitions * Companion is unsummoned when transitioning areas in Star Fortress flashpoints

Now I'm finally able to log in again. That was really weird.

All my characters still get stuck on 3/4 loading bar. No idea why.

Are you getting usable ping times?

You posted in my thread, so I'll post in yours. I'm having exactly the same problem. The fact that there are not a lot of reports about this seems to suggest it's some kind of ISP issue. Are you also on Spectrum?

Yeah, I can log into my account now, and see my characters, but can't enter the game. Oh well, thank you for responding: It helps knowing it's not on my end.

Is anyone else experiencing massive server lag or inability to enter the game? I logged into my main and got the red X network notification with server lag 70 to 90 seconds. Quit the game...restarted, and now the character won't even load. I'm on Star Forge and the character is in the Black Hole. I'm located in Northeastern US and my ISP is Spectrum. Internet Speedtest shows no problems whatsoever.

There is no longer any distinction between a PVE or PVP server. You decide if you want to be in a PVE instance or PVP instance. You will never see PVP if you choose the former (which I believe is the default).

So, by your estimation, the time it is taking to complete this major server update is a result of them being lazy?

I am getting screen tearing and artifacts on my work laptop, which has an Intel HD 5500 GPU.

Other than Heroics and story/class quests and side quests, what multiplayer content in the game can be completed by two players (and their companions)? I am playing the game with my daughter: We had no problem completing Esseles, but were unable to do the next one we tried (Hammer Station, maybe). Were we just not careful enough (we are self-admitted filthy casuals) or can Flashpoints be completed by two players or can some of them be completed this way, but not others? How about the new Uprisings?

I'm in the Northeastern U.S. and just started getting this (May 9, 17:25 local time) on Shadowlands server.

Figured it out: I had "Show Explaration Quests" turned off. I'll keep the post up in case anyone else runs into the same problem.

My char is a level 39 Smuggler and I'm playing with my daughter who is a level 38 Jedi Knight. We are currently on Taris. The quest "Reconstruction Efforts" given by Bardo in the Olaris Spaceport shows up for her, but I am not eligible for it. Any thoughts why?

I play with my daughter. She's turning 12 in January. We've also played LotRO and DDO together.

I left the game just before it went F2P and now I'm back and have just finished the class story for a new character (i.e. up to the beginning of Interlude). I'd like to explore the added content now, but unsure what the order is. This is what I have available as quests: Ilum: Crystal Ball Makeb: Trouble in Paradise Oricon: Day of Dread Macrobinoculars: The Shroud's Gambit Shadow of Revan: Forged Alliances: Part I and Prelude Seeker Droid: Master Gand's Mission Then of course I have Fallen Empire on my ship's mission console. I basically want to do these in order that the content was released, but I don't know what that is.

If we go down this route, what folder(s) do we need to make back-ups of in order to preserve our game settings?

What I saw in general chat during beta almost made me not buy the game.

Since you don't have to make a profit, or even revenue, your situation does not make for a good analogy.

Once you have sorted out your problem, you can lock your hotkey bars with the little padlock button to prevent dragging keys around in the heat of battle.

I don't want content updates (other than bug fixes) more often than once every 2-3 months.
