You would get all the XP he gets and all the rewards he gets and you can play with him all the time. Pretty sure lot of people don`t have friends who they can always play when they feel like it, so playing story trough with your friend should be separate from your SP story. Same story, just different "saves". Or something. I just want to play with my friend from level 1 to 65 without having to always stop when he stops and only play when he plays.
