xxxaaylaxxx
Hi everyone! Okay, I know that I'm like 6 years late LOL, but I just remembered the song from the Cone Wars series, the episode "Hunt for Ziro". And I was like, it must be Huttese, as I'm a huge fan of the language itself and like to translate various songs and lines. (If you're interested you can check out my post on the cantina songs from TOR and the Promenade ads meanings. Okay end of self promoting :D) So I just took the time and started to translate it but some parts are still a mystery, either because I can't make out the words or there are just any known translations. :( And Sy pronounces words in a weird way, or maybe because it's kinda in ancient Huttese, as it was stated by Cad Bane that the Grand Hutt Council speaks ancient Huttese. Anyway, here's what I got: Huttese: Da Hutt Muna Hoona esa koose Kyotopa la wee toogi Neeja ga stuka vopa bota Da Hutt muna Da Hutt muna Bata Hutt ma choba Maky hopa gee sa Gee ulwan hay okey chiky shag Da Hutt muna Da Hutt muna Da Hutt Muna Basic: That Hutt Love Bring your greetings When you visit there Never to see them to like giving That Hutt love That Hutt love But the Hutt offer To help, pay with Good smugglers and slave girls That Hutt love That Hutt love That Hutt Love So, it's not accurate I know, but it's the best I could make of. Basically this song's about the Hutts are just being greedy but you can sorta buy their "love" with gifts. Edited October 12, 2016 by xxxaaylaxxx
