Zupra
I just started playing this game after a few years break and my PC can run this game gorgeously but all the "Bloom" lighting effect like holographs and things like that are visible through walls and at far distances. Even in cutscenes it covers over the characters. I don't want to turn BLOOM off because then I cant see the holographs or my lightsaber. Anyone know whats wrong? I cant figure out the problem and its driving me nuts. ive uninstalled the game, graphics card, even updated my GPU's with beta software, I'm absolutely puzzled. my DXdiag is below. OwenBrooks
Issues of this type are best at EA Answers HQ as it wont be considered a game bug unless almost everyone has this issue and its not a driver issue. I am taking a guess here bloom isnt the actual issue , given you have AMD gfx. There was a AMD driver version that made light sabres etc invisible unless shaders where on medium , given you say lightsabers disappear. unfortunately what you posted doesnt mention the driver version or date for the gfx card so hard to determine. Try an older driver like 16.7.3 in the first instance To install the directx others have mentioned you need to use the redist from this link not the web setup, this will place a few extra files that are emulated in later releases.
