First, there's no Dark side points to take the option to kill him (I guess I should have done that, right?). Every other situation like this has had that, why does it change now? But, more importantly the only Light side option is to let Rakton go free, so he can lead more campaigns and kill even more soldiers. The Dark side option is to keep him in custody. Apparently the reasoning behind this because he's being traded for "a few thousand" hostages. I don't know, that just really, really annoys me, like everyone's missing out on the bigger picture.
