The outfit designer is a way of adding a fashion costume on top of your armor for your character - your armor is the pieces of gear that make sure you don't die in battle - but the costume is just the way your character looks, and you can change your armor in and out without having your costume be affected. This video also covers what kinds of cool armor you can get including bought gear, crafted gear, cartel market gear, reputation gear and crating dye modules!

How to Transfer Servers in SWTOR

There’s many reasons why you might want to transfer servers in Star Wars: The Old Republic. Maybe you’ve met a friend in real life who plays Star Wars, but realised you can’t play together because you don’t share a server. More often though, players change servers hoping to find a more populated server with more people to play group content with.

IF YOU ARE CONSIDERING TRANSFERRING, make sure to ALSO look at the description and comments of this video! There is lots more info there too.

There are three different ways to play Star Wars: The Old Republic when it comes to subscribing to the game: free to play, preferred, and subscribed. This video covers the differences between the three ways, what you can and can't do as a free-to-play player or preferred player, what unlocks you should get if you are downgrading to preferred and what types of activities you can do as a preferred player.

The actual act of transferring a character is very easy. Once you’ve prepped your character by removing all items from their legacy bank, mail, and GTN, you will need to log into your SWTOR.com account, and then press on your username on the top right, to get to your account page. You’ll then click Character Transfer on the menu on the left, then go through the process of picking your character on your original server and then choosing your new server. After a short wait your character will be available on your new server.

Adding a security key to your account on your mobile phone or tablet is extremely easy! Adding a security key also gives you a free 100 cartel coins in Star Wars: The Old Republic per month! This video goes over how and how to make your account very safe by adding two-factor authentication to your account.

The Nar Shaddaa Nightlife event is a limited time event in Star Wars: The Old Republic where you can head to Nar Shaddaa and gamble your credits away for a chance to win some unique prizes. Unlike the other events in SWTOR, this event is not on a set schedule, and we don't know when it will return. The event itself is very simple, and involves spending credits on slot machine tokens, just like at a real casino. The difference is that most players spend credits hoping to win prizes, rather than to win credits. Some of the really cool prizes include a rancor mount, a gamorrean companion, and some interactive Nightlife decorations for your stronghold.

For those of you who have been following along with the WONDER OF SWTOR playthrough project, I've been playing for 7 weeks now with a video every Thursday and Friday :)

Most recently for Episode 7, I joined some guildmates for my character's first flashpoint!
