Cartel Market Certificates need to come back

Seriously, so much good stuff and no way to get them at a normal and reasonable price.

You can't even get the slot machines anymore on my server.

Please introduce a Cartel Market Certificate Pack with 10 for like 200 CC or so.

Or change the way those items are acquired.

I know I just found out that there is a decorations vendor that takes cartel certificates, its actually useful stuff like proper vendors too, anybody just joining now will likely miss out on them (fortunately for me when I consolidated all my cargo from various alts I found I had about 90 of them all in all).

Personally (and this is just my view) but I think they could kill two birds with one stone.

Reworked the contraband slot machine , to have a much higher chance of certificate along with tokens for other reps

That way it pleases both crowds

Those that feel they should not come back as a pack item

And those that want to buy the decos etc

As it is the slot machine is all but worthless once you cap rep

From zero rep to capped I got a grand total of one certificate

And that was from doing about 50-60 coins a day

Those of us who came too late to get Cartel Certificates also cannot get a Contraband Slot Machine, so unfortunately that's no solution at all.

They should give out 4 Contraband Slot Machines (1 for each Stronghold) for finishing KOTFE or make them drop in Star Fortresses at a reasonable rate, let's say a rate that equals to 1 slot machine each 20 runs.

But I guess they value money making more than happy Players.

The slot machine is easily available via GTN or the shadow pack again from gtn

And make those decor bound would solve the economic problem. Of course they need to make slot machine available to purchase with CC again.

You don't have to own one. You can use a Contraband Slot Machine in any open stronghold that has one. Check and see if your guild has one, or if someone in your guild has one and is willing to give you a key to their place.

Really a better solution would be to have rep packs be a thing. A companion gift, a scrap metal, a random cartel market faction vendor rep item with a chance at getting a cert. That's how the cartel market tends to do things, anyway.

MMO RPG does not mean that everyone is ENTITLED to everything that ever was in the game, that is currently in the game or that ever will be in the game.

 

When the packs contained rep items with a CHANCE at a cartel certificate, the certificates were about a 1 certificate in 10 pack drop rate. Yet, you want BW to essentially sell them to you DIRECT?

 

You can say that you only want them in a "rep pack", but if you expect that rep pack to always contain a cartel certificate because you don't want a "CHANCE" to get a certificate, then you are asking BW to essentially sell them to you DIRECTLY. Any time you want a certificate, all you need to buy a "rep pack" and your GUARANTEED a certificate, if they were to do it the way you demand it be done.

 

If BW made a rep pack with a CHANCE at a cartel certificate, no one would be required to spend RL money on those packs. I'm certain they would be available for purchase from the GTN using credits.

Why not? Everyone would be happy if the drop rate is 100%.
