Well, now they seem to only drop Prototype quality Rank 5 gifts with the occasional Rank 6 I've opened 80 crates, not a single purple Rank 5 gift. That's a small sample size, but from what I've seen, they are only dropping the blues. EDIT: To note, out of those 80 crates (across a few toons), only a dozen or so Rank 6 gifts dropped. A previous patch was supposed to remove only the premium from dropping but instead removed Artifact Quality Rank 5 Gifts. Today's patch corrects that mistake.
