Phase walk cap exploit

Are we sure this wasn't just a stealth sorc buff? I mean, why not? Right?

The funny thing about this particular bug is it seems that part of the reason why it's possible to do this, is because phasewalk doesn't make you disappear from the spot you were just in, and reappear in another, it just shift you very fast. So, no LoS occurs. Take for example, a sorc is using force lightning on you, and you have your phasewalk planted near them, still in their full view. When you use it, their force lightning attack will go uninterrupted and they will auto rotate in your direction. So if they do fix the capping issue, they'd also make non-LoS phasewalks more useful as well.

 

incorrect regarding Phase capping. LOS definitely occurs. you cannot Los phase cap, and to stop this "exploit". all the ranged dps need to do is follow the beam of light and shoot the capper.

 

increasing the cap range would actually help this warzone, it would mean that the 50 healers in each warzone might have to stop putting aoe heals on objective cap range and actually do something objective, & the dps spammer's of storm/quake would have to do the same.

Start capping, phasewalk while capping, you will continue to cap even tho you're not in the area for people to stop cap. Is this getting fixed soon?

 

that beam of light doesn't go to heaven....... it shows you exactly where that nasty phase capper is, you cannot los with phase cap, there is only so many places they can be......how is 2 clicks... interact... phasewalk even a exploit? even clickers can do this..... operatives can do this.
