Gyronamics Posted March 1, 2016 Share Posted March 1, 2016 Suppressive Fire is a spammable, ranged, channelled Sniper AOE. Powertechs have never had anything like that. Ever. Gyronamics Posted March 2, 2016 Share Posted March 2, 2016 (edited) It wouldn't have mattered before but when they increased the damage on Unload, made channels immune to pushback and changed the cost to per damage tick instead of a lump sum at the channel start it became totally legit to use Unload on a PT as a cheap filler that gave a damage boost. It was also constantly used by PT tanks as a strong single target attack, allowing them to do more damage/threat than intended. It was "compensated" at low levels who ofc lost it when it became Merc only by letting BH get Flamethrower earlier.
