As the floor drops, if a player dies while jumping down to the second or third phase, even if you fall to the bottom, no one can see your corps to rez you. Also, you only have the option to return to med center. If someone loots SOA, you are not given the option to roll on any loot. Therefore, if you die while jumping down, between phases, you do not get to loot the boss at the end of the fight if someone loots the boss before you get back from area start.
