A Bastion Server wide PVP event from planet side to the stars involving everyone. No one on the Bastion will do PVE on this day. When: December 28th, 8am to Midnight. Who is invited? Every single player on the Bastion server! Though players from PVP servers like the Prophecy of the Five, Jung Ma, Darth Nihilus, Tomb of Freedon Nadd, and the Jar'Kai Sword are welcome to come by on this day and join our ranks - as a courtesy to fellow PVP servers. Who is not invited? Players who left the server for PVE servers. This is primarily an event for active members and guilds on the Bastion. It's for us, a Celebration for those us who stayed, please respect that. If you like, organize your own events on your own PVE server. Vision: In honor and celebration of who we are, residents of the Bastion PVP server, I'm calling all Guild leaders of both factions to help organize what could very possibly be the biggest PVP event in SWTOR history! On Monday, the 28th of December, every single Guild from both the Empire and Republic faction, on the Bastion server is going to camp all over the galaxy rotating in every single open world pvp area possible, while queuing up to lower/mid/65 bracket warzones, 65 arenas, and Galactic Starfighter for 24 hours straight! Never ending PVP madness!!! On this date, we will all cancel our Operations and any PVE leveling, class story, side quests, flashpoints or heroics. On this date, no one will worry about any of that. From Tatooine to Ilum to Yavin to Zakuul, we will all be phasing in and out of open world PVP battles to warzones and GSF and even ranked arenas all day and all night. This may very well be our most epic moment, ever. Whose with this? Please consult your Guilds, and come back here and cosign. Put it in your Guild's website calendar. And start sharing the news on general chat rooms throughout the Galaxy. Look up people, ask to speak to their guild leaders and ask them to set that date, no PVE allowed on the 28th. Just legions of multiple giant op groups in open world PVP wars throughout the Galaxy, low/mid/65 warzones, GSF and ranked arenas until the server's midnight. It doesn't matter if players are new, or don't have proper gear. There will be plenty of players just like you participating looking to fight players who don't have full 2018 pvp gear. We will all try to be in giant op groups taking in everyone we see as we war against the rival faction with all we got. There will also be plenty to do for players who may feel out matched. Lower level players can go connected to their guilds through voice chat or guild chat rooms reporting enemy faction movement to their fleets. Players in turn will respond to the reports by getting the info back to their guilds sending in constant rotating support to open world battlefields throughout the Galaxy. Guilds can move large op groups through flagship summons as teams of stealths scout and flank enemy movement. Smaller groups of 10 can lure much larger groups to prepared ambushes on the other side of a mountain or a building where alliances of Guilds with orbital support and fully ranked and augmented pvp gear will be awaiting. Stealth scouts from different groups can coordinate and do flagship summons at the same time with players all ready prepared for instantaneous fighting, changing the tide of any battle in seconds. The possibilities and strategies are endless. Though this event starts at 8am, it probably won't pick up until the evening. But there will still be allot of PVP action throughout the day, because no one will be doing PVE. Everyone must be queued to WZ/GSF/Ranked if not deeply involved in a open world PVP battle. If you LIVE stream your game, via Twitch or Hitbox or wherever, feel free to cover our New Years Celebration War! On the 28th, the entire Bastion Server will give PVE and the Eternal Empire a break, for the Republic and the Empire are going back to War! I'm under geared but Ill participate with the few guildies coming back with me. Which faction is considered the underdog these days as I want to help them out.
