Stretchie
We used to be able to give our companions any look we chose. Since KotFE came out, that is out the window. all gear was mailed back to us and they are either in scivies or in a set costume that they came with in the KotFE story. Can we get back the ability to choose how our companions are clothed?
MaximusRex
You can put gear on any of the original companions to change their look. They were only supposed to mail back gear that doesn't impact appearance anymore, but it's bugged for some companions. They also mailed you all the gear they start in when you first get them, as a courtesy for all the people who asked for it. You can either put it on them, store it, or sell it. LordFell
Lack of customization means that you see Lana Beniko 101 times every time you pass through Odessan. It's a bit stupid. I read elsewhere that they didn't want Lana to get the Slave Leia treatment... eh. There's room for debate about whether that's fair to their players (we pay the sub, they're our companions, we should have that call). I do kind of understand that they don't want their Main Cast to become trivialized (although, they do forget, sometimes (often) that the Player should be The Star of This Show). How about a compromise? Give players half a dozen Lana "head/face" customization options and a single Outfit box; instead of giving Lana (and Theron, Koth, and whichever other NPCs get slotted as Main Cast) a fully customizable outfit, instead give a single box that holds a single outfit. Maybe allow the outfit to be dyed. So... Lana has to be "blondie" for story reasons, give us 6 head options with blond hair. Then, give us say, 6 options for outfits from the Odessan Cantina Vendor... and sure, why not, put another 4 in the Cartel Market... same for Theron, et al. jimmorrisson
Customization for the new companions is at the very bottom with what wrong with this game now. Sooner or later we will get our original comps back then you can dress them in Slave Leia gear to your hearts content.

This is not a new revelation either from day 1 of the cartel market hitting this game, thats the direction they slowly been moving towards

While I understand your position on 'rights as a consumer' I remind you that you have none when it comes to this game, as per the EULA that you agreed to. Every pixel in the game belongs to EA/Bioware and you can do with it what they allow. If this means they don't want their vision of the integrity of their intellectual property such as essential the characters Koth, Senya, and Lana to be smeared by teenagers who think it would be funny to dress Koth in a Sensuous Dress and put Lana/Senya in a bikini: that is their right, and you already agreed to it. Any youtube video featuring cutscenes of this latest content would be considered promotional material with or without consent, it stands to reason it is in their best interest if they want their game to be taken seriously to not have Senya running around with her virtual jiggly bits showing. Besides these irrefutable points, if you use these three companions in the 'preview' window while you try on the slave girl outfit, you will notice that they wears it over-top of their armor, suggesting that their attire is a part of their body mesh. This might even make cutscenes easier to engineer.
