GythralSWTOR Posted November 1, 2015 Share Posted November 1, 2015 Area Loot/Auto Loot and Heroics mission items not counting as picked up when they are, and the stupid things cannot be dropped, so you have to reset the mission, reset your preferences then start again WHY after 4 years is this still an issue???? Yukino Posted November 1, 2015 Share Posted November 1, 2015 I don't know what is causing the effect, but it happened to me as well several times with a new character during Coruscant missions, where i had to loot mission items 2 or 3 times, before they were accepted. They were in my inventory, but did not advance the mission. I always loot the mob (or one of them) with the yellow marker, if there is more than one corpse with loot. Nightblazer Posted November 7, 2015 Share Posted November 7, 2015 It is a bug with area loot. When I disable that feature, I have no problems when I pick up mission items it gets counted properly. I just tested today, I had to loot an item, never counted, turned off area loot, reset mission, no problems. So yes Area Loot is still bugged as of today, Auto Loot is fine, it's just Area Loot where it doesn't count at all or takes multiple attempts to get it to trigger.
