Every time I join a wrz I end up in a team where I'm one of two in actual pvp gear...while everyone else has 1400 expertise vs imps that are fully geared...so, is there a server where there's actually some balance? Sevarn Posted November 1, 2015 Share Posted November 1, 2015 Tomb of Freedom Nadd has the best rep side for regs that I've seen. We stomp imps all day. Only time imps win is because of the ungodly amount of healers they have and even then, it requires a premade. Of course we get our fair share of bad players too, even more so since the free 60s are a thing now, but it seems imp side has it worse with that particular issue. Be aware though, that if you want to do ranked, I would not recommend rep side on this server. Not going into the reasons for that again, burnt out on ranked complaining atm. Anyway, if you like beating premades with random groups, you'll like rep side tofn. Just keep the ranked issue in mind if that's important to you. On TRE I could not believe the number of peeps with no PvP gear on. On TOFN this is almost unheard of. So if you are looking for a PvP server for reps on EU join TOFN. People having less than 1400 expertise is not only pubs problem sadly it is a very big problem for pvp and it is bicause of bioware trying to make that stupid conquest system work. Now they added purple pve crafting mats to conquest reward and best way to get points as a repwatable content is pvp so pve players are doing pvp with their 220+ pve gear and no pvp experience. If you check them most of them doesnt even have 20+ valor and total 1000 kills. Sadly biofail keeps idiotic conquest idea over pvp, so now these players are ruining pvp fun for most of us. Rep side tofn has an excellent track record of beating imp premades and in general rep side wins more than half of the games. Of course, you will get bad and frustrating groups and you will on occasion get rolled by imp premades, but that's the fun of it. There is nothing more satisfying than beating premades in a pug, especially if you've lost a few games to them previously. We have some great pvpers here. I can't remember the last time I've lost with zardar (for example) on my team. They play objectively most of the time, which is why we win so much. Only server I seen with a strong pub side is Ebon Hawk, because the 2 main pvp guilds, like some sort of prehistoric cockroach, never die. So, this server has a pub side that always has SOME competent pvpers who regularly play pubs. That being said, yes, there's lots of pub vs. pub fights when the usual pvpers all go to pub side for domination... But then, sometimes the majority run to imp side and that's when you find imp side dominating. There are still a lot of "fair-weather pvpers". The one thing that never changes though is The Core and a smaller number of Republic players seem to always play pub side and always have members on. I am sure some of them play imps too, but there seems to never be a period where their entire guild says, "guys let's all play our imps pubs suck now!" Which is what a lot of guilds and players do. I know it happens, because I see the same legacy names on both sides often and most of them are riding the wave of the winning team. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
