Tenacity Posted October 25, 2015 Share Posted October 25, 2015 I'm a huge fan of the vectron line of speeders, but I'd like something befitting my bounty hunter. The vectron line currently has several 'utility' speeders, shown below: Vectron Slicer: http://dulfy.net/wp-content/uploads/...er-speeder.jpg Has some computer components and a safe in the 'cargo' section Vectron Scavenger: http://dulfy.net/wp-content/uploads/...-speeder-3.jpg Has an engine piece and some metal in the cargo section. Vectron Analyst: http://dulfy.net/wp-content/uploads/...st-speeder.jpg Has plants in the cargo section. Vectron Archaeologist: http://dulfy.net/wp-content/uploads/...ogist-Side.png Has force crystals in the cargo section. What I'd like to see is a Vectron-style speeder like these, perhaps with a more rusted or rough texture (maybe something like the vectron veteran: http://dulfy.net/wp-content/uploads/...-speeder-4.jpg ). The cargo section would be expanded, a little wider, to hold a frozen carbonite slab laying down, and the front of the vehicle could have some kind of weaponry/blaster attachment for pursuing targets. A holographic HUD from the steering column would be a cool effect too. Even better would be if the mount had a flourish that opened and closed the cargo bay, so if you wanted to cover up the carbonite slab you could. Here's a mockup I did for a possible design. Side by side, on the left is my mercenary with her Vectron Volo speeder, and on the right is my design for a Vectron hunter: http://i.imgur.com/UCkciYd.jpg The 'pickup bed' isnt quite big enough for a carbonite slab, but I wasnt able to make it large enough without putting significant work into reforming the seat/body. As you can see it's got a rustic/beat up paintjob, a sort of desert camo color scheme, lights on the front, a pair of blaster barrels in the front center, and the pickup bed for cargo. Tenacity Posted October 26, 2015 Author Share Posted October 26, 2015 I mostly want this because I got the new vectron sled/podracer thing (LW-something or other?) on my smuggler, and I love the idea of him having a cargo section on his speeder for hauling illicit goods.
