I also am a firm believer in the equity of customization options, so I think races besides human should be able to have beards. I'm also a firm believer in longer hair options for both genders. So that we might turn male body type 4 into a giant Dwarf, with his hair braided into his beard. But seriously, longer hair. beards. Not hard.
