Questions for second cantina tonight in Cologne

What will be the difficulty of story modes after Bioware scales up operatons? It would be better to set them casual-friendly rather than make them as hard as Dread Fortress and Dread Palace were originally. I remember that on the Progenitor pugs couldn't finish either of these operations. Sometimes DF was done by luck but Dread Council was out of reach.

The more important questions are what assumptions are made for the tuning, for example stims, adrenals, augments, stat optimization, stat budgets.

Simply saying 'n Rating or better' doesn't provide enough information as the performance of a player in 'n' rated gear with random stats, high endurance mods and enhancements, no augments, and no stim or adrenal use will be substantially lower than the performance of a player in 'n' rated gear with optimized stats, low endurance mods and enhancements, fully augmented, and using stims and adrenals.

And the gap in performance between a player fully optimized and using every possible buff or boost available only grows as gear continues to scale, it wasn't huge at launch 50 (plus much less options to optimize / buff), has grown very large now, and will only get larger at 65.

Of course it doesn't help that the game provides crappy optimization and crappy high endurance stuff outside of operations drops, as well as little information in game to help players optimize.

It also doesn't help that augments and stims are only available by crafting them or buying them off the GTN, so many casual players feel they are not required and consider them optional, even though the stat difference they offer is substainal.

Any word on server merges? Name purge? "Better than x-server"? Make sure that they have party hats on and stiff looking drinks in their hands before answering (for future plausible deniability). Edited by Savej
