I brought up the launcher on the PC I play on and nothing started downloading. Does the content download from the launcher like a patch, or is it just "there" once you purchase? Warrgames Posted July 25, 2015 Share Posted July 25, 2015 It is already downloaded as long as your game is up to date. It is automatic download when it was released. There is a lot of stuff that came in the game that everyone saw whether you bought the expansion or not. Buying a expansion gives you access to Rishi and Yavin and being able to level your character to 60 and all content associated with being 60. Yomitako Posted July 25, 2015 Share Posted July 25, 2015 The same will likely hold true for KotFE. if you don't sub, you'll still end up downloading the patch (and all the assets that come with it), you'll simply be gated to the content until you do sub, in which case it'll probably be something simple in the code like "If $ = yes, then set expansion = yes".
