DarthDymond Posted July 7, 2015 Share Posted July 7, 2015 (edited) http://www.starwars.com/news/christopher-miller-and-phil-lord-to-helm-han-solo-anthology-film?linkId=15374279 After "Rogue One" the next "Anthology" film will be a Han Solo movie, scheduled to come out on May 25, 2018: The story focuses on how young Han Solo became the smuggler, thief, and scoundrel whom Luke Skywalker and Obi-Wan Kenobi first encountered in the cantina at Mos Eisley. The screenplay is by the father-and-son team of Lawrence Kasdan and Jon Kasdan. Papa Kasdan (Lawrence) worked on the screenplays for Empire Strikes Back, Return of the Jedi and Raiders of the Lost Ark - as well as the Force Awakens. It will be interesting to see how the New Canon's replacement for A.C. Crispin's Han Solo Trilogy pans out - and if ties in with Han's wife who was just introduced in the comics.
