If you are receiving this message, it means that you have been selected for redeployment to the Republic Special Services division of SIS. This is a great honor, and you have been entrusted with many responsibilities! Fret not, you may continue your regular, daily activities, while being a part of this new initiative. Republic Special Services lies dormant until it is needed. And on that note, let's dive into what R.S.S. is! Our Goal: R.S.S. is dedicated to the protection of the Republic at all costs. In the event of a catastrophic event, drastic coup, or other horrible occurrence, it will fall upon the R.S.S. to restore order to the Republic, in whatever ways necessary. Once activated, the R.S.S. will have a large amount of jurisdiction, be it military or political. If the worst is to happen, the R.S.S. may be all that remains of the Republic, and it will be vital that its members carry on our tradition of democracy, freedom, and unity. Structure: In order to prevent corruption within the R.S.S., there is a board of officers who will be in control of the operation - 5, in total, ensuring that there will never be a tie in a decision. In the event of the death or resignation of a Councilling officer, a new officer will be elected in by the general members of R.S.S. Once order has been restored and the senate reformed, R.S.S. will resign duty to the Republic. OOC: R.S.S. is a heavy RP guild with a story intended to encompass both pre- and post-KotFE content. Early on, there is enough ambiguity that we may adapt to what sort of events take place during KotFE. However, the guild may be ignoring some occurences during the storyline, and/or utilizing the 5-10 years inbetween stories rather than the KotFE story that takes place.
