I quit SWTOR for about 2 years after a year after release and I remember I had a Sith Warrior with a purple crystal that I had bought from the auction house, but now I can't find one to buy on the Begeren Colony server. Can I still get one? How? I started over on the new server to take advantage of the 12x XP thinking is give my new Warrior a red lightsaber and my Inquisitor a purple one, but... You know, I can't find the pure purple crystal anymore By purple Crystal I don't mean the purple-black or derelict Crystal, I mean the actual, purple thing like Mace Windu's. Sangiban Posted June 15, 2015 Share Posted June 15, 2015 The lvl 50 purple crystals appear on the GTN quite frequently, on Begeren Colony as well. Just wait a day or two for the people who sell them to put them up. Otherwise there's purple outline and derelict purple which can be used from lvl 10 and up. Daxer Posted June 15, 2015 Share Posted June 15, 2015 The deal with purple lightsaber crystals is that they are only obtainable from players who reverse-engineered them back in the day and now have the artifice recipe, i can make purple hawkeyes only. But then again i can craft alot of those so the next artificer can R-E them and learn the recipe aswell. Basicly my answer is, they are craftable. Yeah, I have the schematics for all three of them (I don't think there's a WH variety of the purple crystal - not that I've seen anyway,) but as one poster above me said, they're only usable at lvl 50. I know they used to be in some of the launch end game pieces, but not sure if they are in the items that still drop (since they removed a lot of the original gear right before 2.0). They are craftable though, even the War Hero (though not sure the schematic is still available - it used to be sold by one of the PVP vendors).
