Will this computer run SWTOR ultra high with good FPS?

I've heard most people with amazing computers still have FPS issues.

Its not because their computers aren't amazing, its because TOR engine sucks. YOu will most likely have FPS issues in certain areas like everyone else.

Sorry, save some money.

Well, will this PC be able to run most games on high graphics with good FPS?

What resolution do you plan on shooting for?

@ 1920 x 1080 you should be ok

but if you're looking at doing 1440p, need a better graphics card

Like the recommendation for the gtx970, but can't justify spending $490 more for that next model up.

Why not build one? I mean, I'm not saying you have to build one yourself, but there are numerous (big reasons) to do so.

- Cheaper (by a long shot)

- Fun

- Feels accomplishing

- Giving yourself experience for the future

Because let's be honest, once you have a full computer setup, you'd be retarded to buy another one, especially when all you have to do to continue upgrading is get a screwdriver.

Look for an i5, i7 is not much better (get that idea out of your head), and look for a better graphics card. Just building that PC alone with the individual parts would cost $200 less, I guarantee it.

If you are ONLY playing this game, no amazing PC is going to save you, end of discussion. You'd be just as good getting the Pentium G3258 with a GTX 750 Ti compared to that rig. Again, no computer will grant you 60 FPS max settings 1080P at all times, anyone who says they get that are lying to themselves.

I'm just not experienced with building PCs and I'm afraid that I will get it finished and there will be something wrong with it and it won't work.

Well, good luck friend! I understand the cautiousness to build a computer, it's kinda scary when you sink a lot of money into a system. I'd listen (but watch out) to what other guys on here have to say. Most know their stuff, but some, not so much. ;)

I use a laptop, but it's got specs for gaming. It's a core i7 with a GTX 960M and still has issues with Ultra settings.

It's unlikely you'll find a setup that can run Ultra without any issues. SWTOR's game engine isn't optimized well. Even people with really beefy computers sometimes have issues.

Well, since it seems like if I want to be able to have a good gaming PC I need to build one, so how do these parts look?

Those components are very outdated, there's been 2-3 generations of CPUs and Graphic Cards since the ones you picked. Do not buy that stuff.

You'll want something like this:

Motherboard: Z97 or H97 chipset

CPU: Intel core i5, model 4460, 4590(k) or 4690(k) (depending on your budget)

(SWTOR is heavy on the CPU, so you don't really want to go lowend here)

Graphics, Nvidia: 750 Ti, GTX960 or GTX970 (depending on your budget)

or

Graphics, AMD: R9 270(x) or R9 280(x) (depending on your budget)
