I was using some empty shells (from the cartel packs) for weapons and loading them up with all the mods & enhancements, and every one of them gave me an alert that it would bind the item to me permanently. Neither the item was bound, nor were any of the mods (I had crafted all of them) that I used. This gave me a minor lurch in the chest but I decided to carry forward and test it on a single item. Luckily, it did NOT bind any of these items to me so that I was able to list them on the GTN (as I've been doing for a couple years now) - but every single piece I put into the shell triggered this warning.
