He glanced at Saltik.

"I would not be unwilling, however, I feel he and I would not get along too terribly well..."

He paused for a moment as he turned back to Lelina.

"I myself am not much for words, it is true... Actions however..." Oddly, he frowned at that.

Lelina covered her face with her fan in mock shock, “Baron, how scandalous of you! And said at a wedding too!”

Down below the groom was finished saying his vows and the bride about to start saying hers.

Brasher seemed puzzled for a moment... Before an emberassed look crossed his face.

"Surely you didn't think I meant..."

Luckily, Kij butted in.

"Mi'lady, I am sure he merely meant he prefers to show who he is by his deeds, rather than his speech."

Brasher nodded, confirming that is what he meant.

Lelina laughed, “Oh course he did, but to see the look on his face. I’m so sorry for the misunderstanding, Baron. Next time we talk we should throw in some action to change things up.”

Brasher sighed, despite his courage in the face of death, which he as faced more than he could care to remember, he never was much when it came to conversing with women... He always envied Jox in that way.

"So, tell me about this Groom."

Brasher tilted his head for a moment towards Jox, who was still completely silent.

"I am sure you know that Jox needs to not be left alone here. Who knows what he might do otherwise. I mean, he had intended to court the Inquisitor when he returned from our mission. Hell hath no fury like that twi'lek scorned... Anyone with eyes could tell you thus. Not that any of us expected it to ever work."

Brasher shook his head.

"For all his cunning, he really can be an idiot at times..."

Lelina looked over at Jox, "He looks utterly pitiful, but you are right it never would have worked. He has been a bit...dumb a couple of times. Maybe it would be best if someone took him to get some fresh air?"

The bride was now finishing her vows.

Brasher chuckled.

"Yeah, he even told us that he purposefully got captured, just to meet Aliria in person... The fool, went and lost a hand!"

He turned back towards the ceremony.

"It would be best for him to remain here... For closure, the poor fool."

He almost snorted, very ungentlemanly.

"Doubt it. Should help him to at least re-evaluate however."

OOC: What is going on in the ceremony now? Gotta know. :p

Beeska and her assistants head to the wedding from the ship that brought them to Alderaan, closely followed by their escort.

All the droids will wait outside of course.

OOC: could we do a little time shift so that I'm not too late? It's pretty difficult to post stuff while I'm asleep.

Beeska was escorted to a seat in the section for minor members of House Organa. Someone had specifically reserved a place for her on the aisle, which along with the fact that she was escorted in made some of the others sitting nearby quite jealous.

Lelina nodded, “Maybe it will.” She turned her attention to the ceremony going on below. It was nearing its end and Lelina wanted to watch.

Brasher watches intently as well.

OOC: Get on with it.

Up from below rang the words, “You may kiss the bride,” followed by a thunderous applause that drowned out anything else being said down below.

“And that, was a royal wedding, Baron,” Lelina said to Brasher over the din.

Lelina’s eyes narrowed, “He kidnapped the prince didn’t he.”

"That is impossible, that is the prince right there, ain't it?"

His grin widened further.

"Why on earth would Jox do such a thing?"

OOC: 3, 2, 1... *cue Karadron's rage* :p

Lelina jabbed her fan into the Jedi’s chest multiple times as she punctuated certain words, “Well at least they signed everything last week, and all he got was a pretend ceremony because he answered everything in Harol’s name. And if news that someone kidnapped the heir to the throne all of House Organa would want them dead. So how about you return him in one piece before today is over.”

Brasher chuckled.

"The prince is fine, matter of fact if I know Jox, he is merely unconscious in the closet of his bedroom..."

O'gis of course chose then to pipe in.

"Nor was it intended for Jox to gain any estate, riches, or even her hand. It is indeed all signed to Harol, not Jox. He merely acted as a... A sub if you will."

Lelina slapped O’gis across the face with her fan, “You don’t just substitute, that is just wrong!” Then turning to the Duros and Brasher said,” Baron and Kij would you be willing to do something for me?”

The two exchanged looks, expecting O'gis to retaliate with a quip of some sort. They were disappointed.

Kij replied first.

"If within reason."
