Scoob Posted March 1, 2015 Share Posted March 1, 2015 (edited) The tooltip says that guard has a range from 0-30m and is instant. However when I am standing within .10m from the my target I can't guard them, it's blacked out as an inactive ability. This is really problematic in ranked arenas where everyone is very close anyway and when im trying to switch guarded targets fast and then get stopped because I get a message that I'm "Too Close". If this is intended, the tooltip should be changed to reflect the actual range of which you need to be to activate the ability. WannEras Posted March 2, 2015 Share Posted March 2, 2015 This is back from the days when a shadow's guard could only be applied between 5 and 30 metres. Not sure if it was the same for other classes, and not sure if the actual damage redirection only works between 5 and 30 metres. Will have to test and see if the damage is still redirected below 5 metres, being unable to apply guard below 5 metres isn't that much of a problem.
