Grayseven Posted January 27, 2015 Share Posted January 27, 2015 During extended periods of combat, Healer companions do not move with the PC but instead stay rooted to the spot they were in when combat started, even when the PC moves considerably out of range. DPS and Tank companions stay with the PC, attacking targets the PC attacks. Healing companions need to stay with the PC at all times. The only way to get a Healer companion to move to the PC's location during extended combat is to put the Healing companion on Passive and taking them back off, causing them to teleport to the PC's location.
