ESET - disable protocol filtering Kaspersky - disable scan/secure connection Norton (firewall) set the exceptions to allow instead of auto ( auto blocks ) if you right mouse click on the game shortcut and select open file location it will take you to the game location from there you should see the swtor folder mentioned in the path above. NoomiryarZ Posted January 17, 2015 Author Share Posted January 17, 2015 Just to make sure you understand what situation I am in: - Trying to install the game from download from the website (don't have the physical copy with me) - Error 208 keeps coming up. - DNS cache has been flushed. - Seem to be unable to find the swtor.exe to add to the firewall. - That repair launch utility doesn't help either. It takes 4-5 tries at the client to finally get through and when I do get through my latency is 42000 or something crazy like that. If I type something in chat it takes a whole min to go through.
