No way to get a rancor, other than the casino event?

Hello, I just started playing this game, and wanted to ask if there was any other way to get a rancor. Other than waiting a long *** time (till next summer, I know not that long.) but still.

Is there really no other way than to wait?

Please give legitimate answers, trolls will be reported.

There are four Rancor mounts total, one of which was only available for a limited time as a Season 1 PVP reward and will not be available again.

The Kingpin Rancor, like you said, is only available during the Nightlife Event which will probably be back in the summer.

The Dathomir Rancor is a very, very rare drop from the Star Cluster Nightlife Packs on the CM. These Packs are currently off the Market ("embargoed" is the term they use), but are almost certain to be available for one day as part of the "12 Days of SWTOR" special that is putting up old Packs for sale each day from now through December 29th. There may already be some still for sale on the GTN depending on your server, and more will probably be going up on the GTN after they show up from the "12 Days" sale. You will probably see the Rancor itself going up on the GTN, too, but I would expect them to be selling for more than 10 million credits (which still may be cheaper than buying the Packs given the low drop rate).

The Dread Enhanced Rancor (aka the Cyborg Rancor) is a drop from Nightmare Mode Dread Palace. This is the only one currently available from in-game means, until the return of the Nightlife Event or a new one is added to the game.

A side note, this is a common mistake for new players/posters, but the "Star Wars" forum is for discussion of Star Wars fiction in general (the movies, TV shows, books, etc.). If you have more questions like this you'll have better luck in the "New Player Help" forum or the "General Discussion" forum. And this:

is probably unnecessarily abrasive. Edited by DarthDymond

Yeah probably, but on the harbinger, it seems to show that trolls are very abundant, (most get ignored immediately). Thanks for the reply though, helps a ton. Hard to find people who will actually help you unless you have special perms (unless you own your own "ban-hammer" for said game.) Of course not that a mod/admin would need help.

Either way, thanks for the info. Appreciated.
