  1. The only thought I ever have about the killiks is 'why haven't the Empire and Republic united to exterminate the horrible mind rape bugs plaguing Alderaan'. They are one of the most disgusting and immoral species in the setting who actually think they are doing people a favor by granting them the 'peace' of having their mind forcibly altered by chemical warfare and consumed by their wretched hive mind. Not that this is anything new since the books they were introduced in also inexplicably didn't have everyone unanimously decide to wipe them out in self defense on the grounds that they were a monster species that evolved from the ground up to mind rape other species into slavery via chemical warfare and they can't even turn off their ability to emit their mind rape pheromones if they wanted to (which they don't, because again the insane monsters think they are doing you a favor by stealing your free will and enslaving you to their hive mind).
  2. I always viewed the ghosts as a shortcut to make up for the fact that, unlike the other force using class's who trained off screen for years, the Inquisitor literally didn't start training in the force until the start of the story. Even before getting them Kallig was always stated to be incredibly powerful in terms of raw strength and potential and ended the first part of their story by giving a Darth level sith a hard fight despite having had something like a year of training by that point (though in the end they did indeed lose and needed Khem to save them). But by the current day they have had several more years to train and had access to many ancient sith secrets to learn from thanks to their dark council resources so they have had time to catch up with the other classes at their plateaus of power even without the ghosts (also, they probably got some other extra benefits from having their body rebuilt besides being a better ghost cage on top of having more time to get good). All Valkorion removing your other ghosts did was bring them back down to the level of the other force users, not take them from being even and drop them down to lower.
  3. How up to date is your gear? If your gear is lagging behind your level that could explain why you are having trouble. Also, are you specced for damage or tanking right now? This is a bad time to be tanking. That done, here is a guide I found in another topic. http://www.swtor.com/community/showthread.php?t=914007 A lot of it was written for a ranged class but this part seems like it would still apply for a Warrior
  4. All of them accommodate it reasonably well, you will have to skip a few side quests that are inherently dickish (especially on Taris) but thats not going to really hurt you any given the game drowns you in XP and the real money in this game is from crafting mods that go into moddable equipment and selling it on the player market anyway.
  5. Yeah, I've reset the BIOS and tried plugging into different drives. There was a marginal improvement from switch to a new hard drive but not enough to make the game playable so it seems like there is a second issue I haven't pinned down.
  6. Jedi look at more then *** kicking prowess when it comes to determining who is a good fit for a council seat. Just because you are amazing at destroying the enemies of the order doesn't mean you are going to be someone who is good at running said order.
  7. Well, switching hard drives didn't help but I have conclusively proven its definitely a hardware issue by getting my brother to let me install it on his more recent then mine computer (its in the same house so same internet connection, we both have a wired setup none of that trying to play on wifi stuff) and it ran great. Guess for now I'll just have to rely on his generosity and play it on that computer until I have scrapped together some money to upgrade to a better rig . Its starting to show its age regardless so I was probably going to replace it in a year or two anyway even if it wasn't showing signs that some of its critical components like the drive and GPU are going bad. I greatly appreciate the help you have all given me in regards to this issue.
  8. Yeah, fortunately I bought a monster of a drive for the second one so it has enough spare room to fit everything on the original.
  9. So, I think the issue might be my hard drive like the previous poster listed as a possibility. I tried playing a few other games and they were also acting odd if they were installed on one drive while the games installed on a second drive I got because I ran out of space on the original were running fine. Won't know for sure until I have time to reinstall it on my newer drive though.
  10. So they have upped the specs needed since last time I played? Okay then, I'll give it another try after work with the specs lowered and let you know if that worked.
  11. No, it isn't frame rate. They are literally just skipping parts of the animation entirely. Another example of the issue, when I jump into my personal speeding my character spent several seconds standing in mid air while moving at speedier speed without the speeder itself being summoned. After several seconds they then at least sat down but the speeder never materialized by the time I hit the no speeder zone and was forcibly dismounted from the mount that never loaded in. But I'll go ahead and give the specs anyway even though it shouldn't be them because they are the same specs I used to play on. I5-4460 running at 3.2 GHz, 8 GB of system RAM, Windows 8.1 (64 bit), GTX 960 graphics card with 2 GB of ram. Which is what I had prior that let me easily run the game on ultra in 1920X1800
  12. So, I decided to get back into the game after a couple years away but my game has gone crazy. When I play it is like looking at a slide show despite having 5 bars on the connection monitor, my sound is glitched with static in the background stuff and echoes on voiced lines, there is crazy pop up with it sometimes taking like half a minute for all textures in an area to load, the resolution seems to keep changing, the CS help request I put in is some ridiculously massive number that is also a negative number, the list goes on. I tried doing an uninstall and a clean install (and made sure to get the version that wasn't bit raider even though that meant being forced to effectively download it twice when I did the alteration to turn it off) but this doesn't seem to have helped any. Is there just some massive wide spread issue going on right now or what? Edit: I have a 50 Mbs download and 5 Mbs upload if that is relevant, but thats what it was back when I played a few years ago and it worked fine then.
  13. I am, that is why I think he wouldn't paint a massive target on his chest by becoming the Emperor instead of a power behind the throne unless the Empire ran out of people that could manage to be the public face. Things must be desperate for him to be acting so openly.
  14. A guy that was a weak ancient fossil already back during the original storyline is Emperor now? The Sith Empire must have run out of anyone worth a damn if 'I got one shotted by some punk *** apprentice back in the Warrior's story' Vowran is Emperor now.
  15. Definitely, they are going to stab us all with morton's fork and give the same end result to everyone regardless of what choice they picked. Like when they made everyone have to disarm bombs and take the gravestone back from Vaylin regardless of if Koth stole your ship or still worked for you.
  16. You are joking, they seriously say the Empire only has 24 planets? I know Marr made it clear back in Rise of the Hutt Cartel that it was definitely the underdog in the conflict but that is just an absolutely ridiculous disparity. I always thought it was ridiculous how huge a portion of their fleet the consular's ragtag rift alliance fleet was said to have destroyed was but apparently they really are just that tiny. And now they are lead by a fossil who was revealed to be old and weak in the warrior story so that means the Empire basically has no force users worth anything left either.
  17. Valkorion was trying to butter us up by saying that the guy we beat was totally the super best most awesome sith ever so we are great for kicking his ***. But yeah, really Jadus is just the biggest example (until you wreck Arcann, Vaylin, and Valkorion anyway) of how wrong it is for normals to ever beat telekinetic future seeing lightning spewing demigods in a straight fight short of being walking artillery like the Trooper/Hunter and praying built in energy shields block telekinesis. I mean you can even see what would actually happen when Kaliyo pulls a blaster and gets wrecked. I really loved it when my agent instead won without ever having to fight Jadus or listening to stuff like Atton in KOTOR 2 talked about wrecking jedi by fighting indirectly instead of getting in their face. No reason to play their game instead of revealing they have been playing chess with a body double and their complimentary drink was poisoned.
  18. If sith purebloods and humans are compatible enough to bone who says sith can't bone other near human species and pop out an off spring that looks like the near human? Sure its still a bit weird but maybe things are so generally diluted that even a 50% is seen as good enough for their desperate cause. I mean Tremel looks human so presumably he isn't exactly 100% sith himself.
  19. Jadus is a punk that got wrecked by a force blind spy and a shield, his hype was destroyed the instant he was beaten as a lowly first act boss. It was a mistake for them to make him fight able at all if they wanted to keep insisting he was so amazing instead of making the encounter always end with you either submitting to or outwitting him without ever entering physical combat.
  20. Something you aren't vulnerable to because you figured out how to make it not work isn't really a weakness anymore unless its really easy to get around your defense.
  21. I think that in this case 'end his suffering' is not a euphemism for 'kill himself'. He is probably trying to find a way to get rid of the constant agony and loss of sensation he received as a side effect of the immortality he was given that doesn't involve killing himself and just turning it all off.
  22. So, when doing her companion talk stuff she loved it when I told her loyalty checking officer to cry more because we don't tell people classified info. Then I go to Nar Shadda and she hates it when I don't tell secret agent man classified information that I was directly ordered not to tell him by my general ranked CO. I can't redo the companion conversation so I am wondering does she just hate that guy and approve of anything you say that tells him to get bent?
  23. I mean, if you really want the corpses left after I kill the Arcanns I guess you can have them?
  24. From the moment you decide its cool to not punish a person who has committed worse atrocities then any monster in the real world (killing the populations of several planets out of petty spite against the alliance commander alone makes Hitler look like an underachiever on the genocide scale, and thats just one of his atrocities) is when you start your quest to play tonsil hockey with magical space Hitler. Hard to romance someone who you killed. Seriously, I don't care how sad his backstory is. Arcann is a monster and I've never had a single character that was willing to let him just walk away whistling a jaunty tune with no punishment. It would be ideal if there was an option to put him on trial or something but we are given the choice of 'kill him right here and now or completely forgive him with no future punishment' so he always gets killed (even if it means also shanking Senya because she is being a self centered **** who wants her magical space hitler son to not suffer any punishment).
