Tbh the dps in that ss is kinda mediocre after i played the spec some more... 2k is easy for dot spread specs. Though what seperates us from say serenity/hatred is the ability to spread out dots has crap dmg compared to say death field/force in balance... so we'll neer quite do as much dmg in those ever important number padding games... Vigilance/vengeance will even do better cause while its dots are not quite as hard hitting the new smash spread it has as well does 7k dmg so you can rack up pretty high numbers with that. Your right though, it's why i 're rolled vigilance guard. Funny thing is all that they would have to do to make Watchman OP is buff the damage on force sweep and makes it's radius larger, make merciless slash heal for it's full damage, and make dispatch proc like it does in combat. All of that and fix UR/GBTF, and make a utility that gives immunity to roots and snares during saber ward. Then you would basically have another class very similar to hatred sins. This is my only problem with marauder. I still really enjoy Annihilation, but I am always under some form of CC. Walking around the battlefield is absolutely retarded. Just for another opinion... it's reg's and you can queue with whatever class you want and play however you want with whatever gear you want as far as I'm concerned for reg's. People who Q.q in reg's probably aren't good enough to compete in ranked anyways. If you pvp often, you know who the best pvp'ers are on your server, and you never hear them whine in chat.
