The who with the what, now? What *********** mad scientist found a way to juke the bolster stats with ship parts?! I mean seriously... No idea how i did that. Fixed. I think from today onward (until they fix it), no records should be counted until they fix the bolster bug with ship parts. In a perfect world there would be a way for me to easily identify and screen out records affected by bolster bugs and the like. Unfortunately there is not. There is no way to differentiate records not affected with records affected so making today the effective date isn't an option and i'm not going to reset the records again. Also there is no telling how long bw will take to fix the issue. In addition I think most ppl probably are on an even playing field because they will just have the parts from questing etc. Also, from what I understand the bug is negligible giving players about 50 total bonus dmg and 2.5k hp. Hp is relatively insignificant as far as records are concerned and 50 bonus dmg is not a huge advantage. I realize every stat point counts but if someone is that concerned there are vendors that sell the pieces for less than a few thousand credits.
