That is a quote from Darth Bane's Databank entry, so that is the extent of his canonical story.

 

So how clear do you think it is to the OP considering his question?

 

clearly you yourself didnt know the lore if you had to state this.

Clearly if the OP had have a source to tap into other than the one he's mentioning, he probably go about the question in another way; the connection between Darth Bane and TCW and Star Wars canon lore in general.

 

By courtesy and a general friendship between Star Wars Fans, in these times of Disney Purge, a source have never been more warranted. Furthermore the distinction between Canon and now established legend, former EU, have never before been more concrete as displayed in this source.

Well I noticed there was actually a part missing from the new entry.

 

The rule of two was revealed to the Jedi Order of centuries past, but in their hubris, the Jedi believed that they had destroyed Bane's plan with his defeat. His remains were placed in a sarcophagus on Moraband, the last Sith Lord to be laid to rest in the Valley of the Dark Lords, and the Jedi presumed the Sith to have been wiped out. But Bane's rule of two secretly preserved a Sith vendetta, and for a thousand years, the Sith Lords worked in secret, preparing for a return. This plan culminated in the rise of Darth Sidious, the destruction of the Jedi Order, and the creation of the Galactic Empire.

 

That is the extent of Bane in terms of canon. Notice no mention of Revan, or SWTOR, or KOTOR, these are Legends, and we shouldn't assume otherwise. Already you have to read between the lines to reconcile this with the novel.
