Kemmoto
anybody know how to run star wars under steam so the overlay UI will work? I have tried added the game to steam "C:\Program Files (x86)\Electronic Arts\BioWare\Stas - The Old Republic\launcher.exe", it works just for a sec... once the patcher windows is done, then the overlay goes away... Cellanoid
Didn't EA throw a hissy-fit and take down a bunch of games from Steam earlier in the year due to them getting Origin set up as their version of Steam? I think this may be why TOR doesn't work with them.

I think this may be why TOR doesn't work with them. Hissy-fit yes, but Origin was not exactly the reason stated. I think it was something along the lines of not being able to interact with the community effectively and Steam taking a percentage of dlc sales. But back on topic. I don't even use Steam when playing TOR, I can't really allow it to hog up what few computer resources I have left. Maybe if I got a new computer then I probably would but for now, no. DregorThule
Some people have said they've been able to get the overlay working with TOR, but I've never seen an explanation of how. Stupid launcher.
