This is because it's really 500 as the base and your guild bonus is making it display is 1000. It does not factor your stronghold bonus into the number displayed, but if it did you would have seen it as 1500. Why 1500 and not 2000 or 3000 or whatever else? Each bonus is applied to the base amount. The guild bonus is 100% of 500 = 500, and your stronghold bonus is 100% of 500 = 500. So the total value of the objective is base + guild + stronghold = 500 + 500 + 500 = 1500 conquest points. If we were talking about something where the guild bonus was a x3 multiplier and if a player's stronghold bonus was only 50%, an example with a base value of 500 would work out to 500 + 1000 + 250 = 1750 conquest points.
