[BUG] So called "Black" bed is actually blue once it is placed!

This better not be a conscious attempt to force us to buy more cartel packs to get a real black bed later on! If so then I will be demanding a refund for this blue bed that appears black in the preview window but then is clearly blue when placed.

Yep, it was noticed before that the colors of the beds do not match their description

It seems the environmentally enhancing lighting BioWare applies does strange things to colors.

Black (a color that does not reflect any other color) in this game is not black, it is whatever the main color theme of your environment is. I went sour with that on the black/black dye too. Whenever I visit Tatooine my black outfit turns dark brown.

I think you guys might be looking at your beds under a wrong or blue light.

Both beds are black in color.

Please check again with different lights and see if it's still blue.

The problem is that BioWare controls what color the environment is lighted with. Not surprisingly if you move the so-called 'black' bed to your Tatooine stronghold, it suddenly has dark-brown covers.

And it is not just the bed, everything is affected by this. Whatever the main color is of the environment the item is shown in, it's color hue gets influenced by this and acquires the same hue as the environment's lighting. Which is totally impossible with any color unless you apply that color to the object that is lighted regardless of the object's own color, as is clearly the case here.

Black should remain black at all times, no matter what color the light is...

They renamed this bed to "Blue luxury Bed" in the german client with their latest hotfix. They also renamed the plum into purple luxury bed.

Great, if that gets done in the English one that means I'll be asking CS for a refund since I bought a black bed, not a blue one... :(

btw. here's another example of the 'blue' effect. Everytime I visit my stronghold on DK, no matter which toon, no matter which companion, every one of them turns up blue. This changes the moment a companion starts walking, sadly my bed don't walk but I wonder, might it have reverted to its advertised color if it could...?
