What is the best DD for PvP?

Hi all. I would like to know, whait is the best dd for PvP - Sorc or Sin? I have Carnage Mara alredy and want to have another good dps for warzones (prefer hutball).

 

P.S. and what is more easy to play?

Here is the Lightning Hybrid which focuses on AOE and being Difficult to kill (Strong in Warzones and Good in Ranked, depending on team/comp)- http://www.torhead.com/skill-calc#201ZforbdRrcRMZcMcRs0z.3

 

Here is the "hybrid spec" that is used for Solo Rated. You get queued in as a "dps" but you pretty much exclusively heal- http://www.torhead.com/skill-calc#201hRrbdRMooZfcbrdoMbZ0M.3

Overall, for Solo Rated I would recommend using that Hybrid healing spec for the best results. The 2nd best would be that Lightning Hybrid while the 3rd would be Madness. Going into Solo Rated as "full healer" is gimping your team.

 

For Team Rated, if you play a "tank tunnel" strategy you should be using Madness. If you play a high pressure comp with dots, stay madness, if you switch to AoE the hybrid works better but this build/strat isn't as fotm atm. If you want to play a comp with hard switches.. go with the Hybrid. You can "hold" a Chain Lightning proc and then turn and use two instant Chain Lightnings pretty much. (Instant CL, Instant LS, Instant CL)

 

For Reg Warzones dps, Madness or Lightning Hybrid will do best. Full Lightning can even have moderate success. I typically think the best spec if you queue solo is the Lightning Hybrid. If you queue in a premade, Madness.

 

Also for healing, Sorcs can perform fine in reg warzones since they can blow a lot of Force, heal alot and then die/respawn. If you ever decide to heal, use the full healer spec for Warzone and it's 50/50 on which spec is better for Rated Arena. (You will be gimped against Operatives, regardless)

No problem at all. Just remember, you shouldn't expect to just use a "premade" build and immediately perform well with it. It'll take practice, like anything else.
