When do you think the Seattle official cantina event date will be announced?

It is getting close to when PAX is happening and just want to make sure I carve out time to go to the cantina event.

Thanks

I made a post about this issue a few days ago. I went back and checked the announcement dates versus event dates of the events that already happened http://www.swtor.com/community/showthread.php?t=723444&highlight=tour Other than the Atlanta cantina stop, all of the other events up to and including Germany have had about a month notice. Not very happy at the moment about the community team's timing and lack of communication about the issue. Even if they came out right meow and say they are having issues booking a place I would be happy.

The last time I brought this up someone laughed at me for even bringing it up. As if how dare I suggest they would come to the pacific northwest... :( :( :(

If this actually happens I hope they can make it a HUGE announcement because info is so freaking hard to find...

I shudder the thought at even trying to use logic, but Begeren is a pacific northwest server, and a pretty damn huge one. You'd have LOGICALLY THOUGHT we would have been higher on the list and given some sort of at least recognition or some damn thing. I'm so sick and tired of trying to use any sort of logic when dealing with Bio's activities because nothing they do make any sort of sense and there's no communication whatsoever.

It breaks my heart I waste any time trying to figure out what's going on with this stuff because it's more often total nonsense.

Bio please just tell us what's going on. Open line of communication. It isn't hard. Just tell us what's going on. Common.......

They are for sure coming to Seattle, unless something horrible happens, it has already been said they will be here sometime in the same days that PAX is here.

Also I was at the Los Angeles Cantina event talking with Jack Woods personally, and he told me "You DO NOT want to miss the Seattle one."

That's all I can 100% remember him saying to be comfortable quoting him haha.

When they announce it, it will be in the Community Blog, so super easy to find!

They have said they are coming. Now we just need a specific date, so we can book a hotel room and not get snubbed because of pax. Please courtney just give us a specific date

Unfortunately you will already be snubbed from PAX, most hotels over here are already booked up for PAX. And if they aren't they are THROUGH THE ROOF pricing.

I just want to get a hotel room for the night of the cantina tour. I leave my house the morning of the tour, get to my hotel, get ready for an evening with fellow gamers, party with the community crew, walk/bus back to the hotel to sleep and leave the following day.

Not to demean PAX, but frack pax. Gimme my cantina tour. :)

Oh I am with you 100% on that! I just want the cantina! Can't wait for it.

I was just looking at rooms even though I am only 20 mins away from DT, they are like 450 a night. Dang you PAX!!!!!!!

Can't wait to meet new people (hoping that it still happens).

Last year we stayed at a hotel around sea-tac airport. There was a light rail train that went straight to downtown and was only about a half mile or less from the garage. Might have to stay there again:(

Shoot, that even sounds like a good idea for me even living very close.

That way I wouldn't have to worry about parking during PAX time haha :o

I do hope this rumour is true as there wasn't such an event at the last PAX (or it was hiding really well)....

That being said, I'd like to remind the out-of-towners that weekend has PAX at the Convention Center and the larger Folklife at the Seattle Center. All hotel rooms for Labor Day weekend have been reserved weeks ago, especially the discount ones. Staying at SeaTac hotel and using the light rail is a good idea.

Be seeing you!

There was a Cantina tour stop in seattle last year. This is not put on by pax, its a BW event. It was at the Garage last year. The info for the tour stop last year was available about a month before the night of the event. The issue is I can only budget one night in seattle and need to know what day they are holding it. That way i can sleep off the impending hangover i will get from partying it up with fellow swtor players.
