LadyKulvax
So among wild claims people were making that numerous sourcebooks, guides, etc.. did not exist because and I quote: "Me nor any of my friends have heard of these." There is a seriously fallacy in this line of reasoning and only brings me to the conclusion that said people have no idea how expansive the series are. In an attempt to stop these blatant assumptions and repair the unfortunate loss of any popularity for the series. I will compile images for your personal viewing pleasure so you may understand how vast this range once was: http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-LjnJ9w6O89w/Um2zw-IW3BI/AAAAAAAAJpM/20cv0ozkpP4/s1600/Slide1.JPG http://onceuponageek.com/images/starwars_resume_rpg2.jpg http://static2.paizo.com/image/product/catalog/WOC/WOC2418172_500.jpeg http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_HKrAtlN653s/S80wQzBnO_I/AAAAAAAAAlM/5ivWweiRTO0/s320/unknownregions.jpg http://img4.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20091209151658/starwars/images/4/47/Star_Wars_RPG_2nd_Ed_Expanded.jpg http://www.starwars-union.de/bilder/news_2013/20130918_tempestfeud_bg.jpg http://static4.paizo.com/image/product/catalog/WOC/WOC2189172_500.jpeg http://i.kinja-img.com/gawker-media/image/upload/s---Dn5x7GO--/c_fit,fl_progressive,q_80,w_636/18sy29f0jlmysjpg.jpg http://t-rob.com/images/SWRPGd20-2-72.jpg http://www.battlegames.eu/479-large_default/starwars-rpg-saga-jedi-academy.jpg Not all of these are large images and this is certainly not the full range.Indeed most of these are core rulebooks and sourcebooks, supplements are significantly harder to find. I hope this will give people a broader understanding of the RPG series. Most of these are no longer even obtainable and ran out of print, their special and/or limited editions tend to disappear from shelves for good within a week at best, and become 'legends' in the community. They were also very expensive, the game was unfortunately killed as far as serious additions go because of the cost of revisions and reproductions outmatching profits, all because of legal cases. So for those interested, sorry but you won't be able to gain a significant collection anymore unless you are 1.Rich or 2.Don't care about quality. Whilst the most popular core rulebooks might appear in your local rpg store, don't expect anything significant. I was lucky enough to be introduced in 1998 and have a sizeable collection but even mine isn't complete. R.I.P the Star Wars Role-Playing Game, you were better than any Star Wars fan could have asked for. Edited July 25, 2014 by LadyKulvax
Aurbere
I think that settles it. Edit: It's unfortunate that it died off so soon. I've only recently started getting into role-playing games. Edited July 25, 2014 by Aurbere
Rogue_Dodger
I think that settles it. Edit: It's unfortunate that it died off so soon. I've only recently started getting into role-playing games. Good timing - there's a NEW Star Wars RPG system from Fantasy Flight Games. There isn't as much material as above (yet) but they've only been going a couple of years. There are two lines at the moment, both use the same system and are interchangeable. Edge of the Empire is for the scum and villainy (Bounty Hunters, Mercs, Fringers) and Age of Rebellion is for the Galactic Civil War. The system is really easy to pick up and very open and narrative. Both lines have Beginner Boxes with an adventure that walks you through the system. Edge of the Empire Age of Rebellion

Lorica
Oh wow, I didn't even know it was dead?! I still have my Core Rule Book and Droid character. I also noticed a slump in the role playing game industry so that is probably another reason for its untimely demise. I see, Wizards of the Coast/Hasbro ended the license in 2010. Ooh, shiny! When I have extra cash I might have to check those out. I've been really impressed with FFG's Warhammer 40,000 line so I expect them to keep the same high standard here.
