  1. Not only that, but the unify color button is completely missing from the Companion tab.
  2. Read again. He said they're in the testing phase now.
  3. Okay, synchronize your watches ...
  4. That may fall under the "It makes sense, so best not to do that" category.
  5. "The one I'm pointing at! Right there!"
  6. Hilarious! I had a similar time happen back in college when I was working at a well known global chain of department stores, which I will not declare the name of. I was working as a stock person in the paper towel and toiletry isles by myself, which is a job for three people. I was overwhelmed with trying to get the product out of the packaging and properly displayed, and I was behind schedule. My boss came up and actually had to audacity to ask me, "What's up? How're you doing?" I stopped and smiled as best I could and replied, "I'm glad you asked, Boss." I then went on for five minutes giving her a scientific explanation for finding the direction known as "Up". She simply nodded and listened to the whole speech. When I finished, she replied, "let me guess, you need some help to get finished on time." I smiled back and replied, "You're so smart, boss. That would be very appreciated." She walked away, and sent 3 more workers to help me get caught up.
  7. YES!! That's 16 cents that I can use for something more important!! Like buying a single bolt to add to my collection of car parts for when I decide to build me a car from scratch.
  8. I spent 10 years as a C/S phone rep. I have a bundle of stories all my own. One such story takes place on Christmas Eve one year when a lady in california called asking when her package was going to arrive. After checking her account, the order she placed was done after the Christmas Delivery cut-off date, was done on-line rather than calling in and speaking to one of our reps, and it wasn't expedited. She would be lucky to get the package by New Years Day. Basically, there was nothing I could do, and I tried to explain this to her in the clearest way possible. I tried three times. Each time, she got more and more irate until she finally called me a "Dumb *****". I told her that I have a bachelor's Degree, which I worked hard to achieve, and so technically I was a "Smart *****". I then hung up on her. Thankfully, no one was monitoring calls.
  9. It happens. I'm a subscriber. Am I upset that I'm losing game time? Yes, but whining about it isn't going to make the servers come up faster. All I can do is wait. Besides, it's not like this happens with every single update. As a result, I'm trying to be patient and understanding.
  10. on a serious note, I do appreciate the attempt on behalf of the powers that be to try and keep us somewhat entertained by providing the codes. However, I also agree with what was stated by another player above. It's better to focus on getting the servers up and discuss compensation afterwards.
  11. What? And miss all this amusing dialogue?
  12. Let your anger for not getting the code fast enough flow through you.
  13. Let me guess ... Someone tripped over the power cord and now they're trying to find the power socket to plug it back in. Or are we beyond that step?
  14. Double bladed saber was used by Darth Maul, as mentioned above. Also, he was a Sith. Now, strangely enough, dual sabers was a technique used by Jedi in the movies. If you watch Attack of the Clones, Anakin uses dual sabers against Dooku, and in the arena scene, there are several Jedi in the background who are using dual sabers. So, canonically speaking, Single saber is the standard, Double Bladed sabers is a sith style, and dual sabers is a Jedi Style. The only one outside of the Jedi to use dual sabers that I am aware of is Ventress, but she'd be considered a dark Jedi rather than a sith apprentice due to the Rule of Two.
  15. okay, I wasn't aware of the age difference. However, I'm not sold on the idea that she's Luke's daughter. Besides, the lightsaber didn't technically belong to Luke. He inherited it and used it, yes, but it belonged to Anakin. The lightsaber called to her not because she's Luke's daughter or vice versa, but because she's Anakin's granddaughter. How that connection is made, I'm not sure.
  16. You've not read "Splinter in the Mind's eye", have you? At the height of the book, Vader and Luke have a duel. Luke is losing until Obi Wan's spirit comes to his aid, possesses him (for lack of a better term), and fights Vader. The phrase spoken by Obi Wan's spirit in Episode V on Degobah where he tells Luke that if Luke faces Vader that he won't be able to interfere is a reference to what happened in the book. What if something similar is happening to Rey, but instead of Obi Wan's spirit, it's Anakin's spirit coming to the aid of his granddaughter? I bring this up because of three things I noticed in the moves. First, when Rey first finds the saber, it's calling to her. if you pay attention, you hear voices in the background calling to her. Second, she has visions of events that happened specifically to Luke and/or Anakin, such as the hall way in Cloud City from Episode V. Finally, when she finally takes a moment in the duel to channel the Force, watch her moves. She has a similar look on her face as Anakin had when he faced Obi Wan. She holds the saber in almost an identical manner as Anakin did on Mustafar. She comes down with a hard downward swing and ripostes like Anakin did against Obi wan. She even grabs Kylo's sword hand and he grabs hers and they wrestle a moment just like Anakin and Obi wan did on Mustafar. That's way too much of a coincidence for her to simply using some type of battle meditation. There are only two explanations that I can find that explains it. One is spoken of in the book as I mentioned above. The other is that she's having visions of Anakin's duel against Obi wan during her duel with Kylo Ren, and is mimicking what she's seeing.
  17. Yeah, Kylo's fighting style is a joke when compared to Vader and the others before him. As far as Rey's use of the lightsaber, I wonder if anyone noticed something peculiar ... After she closes her eyes and goes on the offense, she suddenly becomes very good ... in Form V ... but not only that, she's using Anakin's moves. If you recall, many of the attacks and moves she does are very similar, if not almost identical, to the ones Anakin used on Mustafar against Obi Wan in Revenge of the Sith. I don't think she's using battle meditation. I think she's using Farseeing. When she first touched the saber, she saw the past, Cloud City, then several other images. What if during the duel, she let the images come to her instead of trying to fight them, and she was able to mimic Anakin skywalker as a result? There's another possible answer. What if she was some how channeling Anakin's spirit for guidance in the duel? Although considered legend now, Luke did the same thing with Obi Wan's spirit when he faced Vader in the book Splinter of the Mind's eye.
  18. 1. How do you rate the The Force Awakens out of ten and in relation to previous Star Wars movies? 7/10 ... I enjoyed it over all. 2. Who is your favourite (new) character so far and why? BB-8 ... he's just a funny little droid. 3. Who is your least favourite (new) character so far and why? Captain Phasma. I couldn't tell if it was a man or a woman ... but ... it ... stood head and shoulders taller than everyone else, bulky looking armor that didn't define any type of gender, but spoke with a high squeaky voice. Seriously?? 4. Out of the returning Original Trilogy cast, who gave the best performance? Harrison Ford/Han Solo 5. What was the most awesome/epic moment for you in the movie? Rey flying the Falcon through the derelict Star destroyer 6. What as the funniest moment for you in the movie? BB-8 giving the thumb's up. 7. Do you think Rey might be a descendant from the Skywalker line, and if so is she Luke or Leia's daughter? It wouldn't surprise me if she was. As far as which, I'm torn between Luke and Leia. An argument can be made for either. 8. The death of Han Solo, your thoughts? Should he have died, should it have been done differently? I think it was appropriate, although I am sad that it happened. 9. How do you rate the lightsaber duel out of ten and in relation to previous lightsaber duels? hmm ... I'd give it a 6/10 ... not bad for a beginner fighting a couple of novices. 10. How to you rate the film score out of ten and in relation to scores from the previous movies? And if you have a favourite soundtrack/theme, which was it? 8/10 ... I liked the musical score, always have. 11. If you could change one thing with the movie, what would it be? Phasma ... if a woman, make her look like a woman .. if a man, get rid of that high squeaky voice. 12. Finn is featured wielding a lightsaber in the film and in promotional material, but he is never actually depicted using the Force. Do you think he is Force sensitive? Is he force sensitive? it's possible, but I doubt it.
  19. Over all, I would agree with this. However, I wanted to point out an alternate theory about #5. Yes, she being Luke's daughter is a possibility, and that was my first guess. However, you can explain that she's Kylo Ren's sister by what we see in the movie. What if the reason why the saber came to her instead of him is because she's the older of the two. Also, they appear to be similar in age. I know it's a silly comparison, but Rey did remind me of Leia and Padme. Also, she seemed to know how to fly the Falcon by intuition, like it's in her blood. As far as how Han didn't recognize her, what if she was hidden without his knowledge? After all, Leia was hidden from Vader, and it wasn't until he faced Luke on the 2nd Death Star that he found out. Over all, I agree that there is a family connection somewhere between them.
  20. one thing I thought of comes from the book, Splinter of the Mind's Eye. In the book, Luke faces Vader while in proximity of the Kyber crystal. Obi Wan's spirit was able to inhabit Luke for a short time, allowing Obi Wan to use Luke's younger body to fight and defeat Vader. Now, in the movie, when Rey touches the saber, she has a flashback to Cloud City. What if during the duel with Kylo Ren, she wasn't using Battle Meditation but was channeling Anakin Skywalker's spirit? If you notice, she uses many of the same moves after that moment as Anakin did against Obi Wan on Mustafar.
  21. Why do you want another one?? We already have overload and whirlwind, which can either do that or something similar already. Overload can be modified to keep the ones it effects pinned for a few seconds. Also, you have force storm's stunning effect. When it comes to stun or stall effects, we have plenty.
  22. I have several from the smuggler that I like, but the best one has to be when faced with the trio of bounty hunters on coruscant and the smuggler turns to the arrogant one and asks ... "is that a hair style or did a womprat die on your head?" Another favorite is when you're talking to rogun and he asks if you know how to apologize. I love the reply. "I'm so ... I'm sorr ... I'm so good looking! Nope ... can't." I die laughing every time I come across those moments.
  23. Okay, endurance is good, but not that vital to a sorcerer. Using your companions effectively is more important. Personally, I suggest using Khem Val or Treek (if you have her) as your companion to tank for you while you pump out the damage. Don't worry about defense so much on your sorcerer, but pump up the defense on Khem Val. That's why you have him. What you should worry about is pumping up your damage with power items. Now, if you really want to make effective use of the Sorcerer's base modifier of 10 for deflect and parry (which is higher than the other classes), then add in some defense stat increases to your gear. That will increase your chance to deflect and parry. However, I wouldn't advise it as your primary goal since you'll gimp your damage output.
