Cjirucha Posted July 21, 2014 Share Posted July 21, 2014 Hey so I've started gearing up for PVE in 168 and 180s. Looking at whats available from the comm vendors, I have to say I'm disappointed. There is a lot of critical rating and alacrity gear compared to power and surge. For example, all the belts and bracers have critical rating rather than power. Also none of the ear pieces have power/surge. What's up with that?? Can anyone give me some tips for the ideal gear set up at this level? Thanks. Bejarid Posted July 21, 2014 Share Posted July 21, 2014 For ideal gear at the 180 level, the commendation stuff is mostly crap. You can get good mods and non-set armorings where you need them, but the enhancements are all going to be endurance heavy/secondary light garbage. For implants, I want to say there should be a power/surge one on the Ultimate vendor, as I believe my Sentinel has two of them; but you're screwed on the earpiece outside of operations since I think there are only crit/surge, and, I think, crit/alac earpieces on that vendor.
