I the 1st book they talk about using the force in way that aren't being use now a days. Like Force Alchemy. Back then the Je'daii, as they called themselves, believed that balance the to one true way to use the force. They taught the new je'daii how to use the Light side of the force as well as using the Dark side of the force. My real question I guess is, what ever happened to that way of thinking? Or all the Force Science they taught at the Temple of Anil Kesh, the Temple of Science? Anyone have any ideas? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

But, however, as a advice to your research I would direct you to investigate Wookiepedia on what before was called expanded universe(EU) lore; look into the 'Force wars' and the 'first great schism'.
