Interesting how that will play out.. NEW GROUP-FINDER FOR STORY MODE OPERATIONS, well that's pretty amazing, but yet again, how can we be sure that people will be responsible and don't queue severely under-geared? And That "THE FESTIVAL OF SPLENDOR" looks like a great idea! Do you have any specifics how this will work? because the information is pretty limited.. Other-all I'm quite exited! I do fancy some of event-related rewards but other than that, Bioware did a terrible job masking how thin this update will be, as far as content is concerned. Waiting an additional three months(!!!) for the next Forged Alliances chapter is simply depressing. Maybe Jesus will descend to Earth in the meantime and Bioware will reveal SOMETHING concerning 3.0. Reofeir Posted May 13, 2014 Share Posted May 13, 2014 The casino is going to be an interesting past time for summer as we wait for the new housing expansion. Other then that: It's a QoL update. For new people who join during the summer participating in SWTOR will have an easier (hopefully) time getting to see the whole story while also having a first look at what an operation actually is.For PVP oriented stuff people will be able to get their ships & characters up to par quicker from those double reward events in july.(Not on the page, but was in summer of swtor) I also can't wait for the return of the reoccurring events that are NOT just bounty week. Plenty of events between 2.8 and 2.9 to do.For nightmare mode it's going to be fun, probably, for hard core raiders but not much so for the casual raider. New ships for GSF is always nice, glad to see GSF still getting content. Final thoughts: For new people or people who didn't get to see the events, this is going to be a fun time. Easier access to things, new event with old ones returning, more incentives to play PvP. For those who played longer, this is going to be a tiny teaspoon of content as they wait and see how the true big update (2.9) turns out. These are just my thoughts on this.
