Character Analysis: Voolvif Monn

So deciding to also do a character analysis. This time looking at the very obscure character, Voolvif Monn who only appeared very briefly in the Star Wars micro Clone Wars series. While he has just appeared brief, he does have a little backstory to him which I figure, why not share with everyone.

Bio

 

Voolvif Monn was discovered by Jedi master Paouoish Rahhdool on a desolate world in the Arah asteroid belt, he sensed a strong connection in The Force with Monn where he then took him as a Padawan. He was trained in the ways of the Jedi and thanks to his Shisatavanen heritage with his enhanced attributes along with his innate Force ability, he became a fearsome opponent in battle, eventually attaining the rank of Jedi Knight.

 

As a Jedi Knight he also perfected a Force ability in which he creates a barrier around himself to protect against any attack, he also honed his hunting skill while as a Jedi. Monn put his skills to the test at the Battle of Genosis where he was one of the few Jedi to emerge, it was then afterwards he attained the rank of Jedi Master and went onto lead Clones in the Clone Wars.

Personality/Traits

 

Monn shunned the company of his fellow sentients for a large majority of his life being that he grew up in solitude in the Arah asteroid belt, honing his hunting and tracking skills. As a Jedi he took the Order's edict of detachment to the extreme, standing aloof and solitary throughout his life as a Jedi. He became to be regarded as a Jedi of mystery, with few approaching to converse with the Jedi Master, he became an unapproachable enigma. Though while he was distant and aloof, he was willing to enter combat when called for it as shown at the Battle of Muunilinst.

Conclusion: Well there ya have it folks, not much but still. Too bad he hasn't appeared anywhere else though, could be great to use in something, he has great potential. I feel like he could also have survived Order 66 too given his natural Shistavanen attributes ontop of his Jedi senses/skills.
