Doclight Posted May 2, 2014 Share Posted May 2, 2014 If there is anything about role-playing that I know that is essential, it is the neutral zone between good and evil. I play neutral in SWTOR despite there being no relic or mount for it mostly because i'm weird i guess and I feel it is more true to the scoundrel or bountyhunter mindset to be neutral. I just find it tiring to be either a goody twoshoes or a murderous sociopath, and I have noticed that a lot of the speech choices in the game are aimed at neutrality in the first place and wouldn't need any changing. I'm not saying there needs to be an added score for neutrality, just divide the difference between accumulated dark and light and you have yourself a neutral score. I KNOW that people would eat up some new gear and a new race (the voss are very neutral and look amazing) for legacy or just vendor rewards. Does this interest anyone else or am i alone in this? People had indicated very early on they would like a neutral 'third way' and as I recall BioWare said they were going to itemize it out but hasn't happened yet. This People have been asking for neutral things since release but it'll probably never happen. I say probably because Bioware said "don't hold your breath" for open space combat since beta...and they actually added it much to a lot of people's surprise. AdrianDmitruk Posted May 3, 2014 Share Posted May 3, 2014 Neutral gear really only comes into play for the relic slots--the other slots are alignment neutral gearwise unless you're going for a specific look that requires LS/DS pieces. THORN should have been a great source of neutral relics for leveling alts (seeing as how almost all neutral relics in the game are for 50+), but after the initial introduction of the faction the event hasn't come back. It should be semi-frequent like Bounty Hunters' Week but the event hasn't recurred as promised. As a result, I only have the rep for THORN relics on Ebon Hawk, while most of my toons are on BC. EnkiduNineEight Posted May 6, 2014 Share Posted May 6, 2014 They have the whole Revan story line, Revanites in the Empire, etc. Seems logical to me that they should maybe focus some of their additional itemization on satisfying people playing this 'balanced' approach.
