Obianon Posted April 25, 2014 Share Posted April 25, 2014 (edited) Yeah, Revan's gear is basically just a recolor of craft-able Inquisitor set and the Sith Warrior headpiece. I don't think just adding a cape to it is enough. Revan is the central hero of this IP, he deserves a detailed replica of his KOTOR/KOTOR 2 gear. There was literally over 400 pages of people saying it should be remade from scratch vs. adding a cape vs. just removing the preexisting bugs and make it like it was originally intended. Guess which one won. You want a Revan Chest with a cape? unlikely be nice but unlikely. They have more reason to make the MAELSTROM variant and be a direct buy from a cartel market rep team because that version already exists in the game and is seen ingame and take less work. You have a better chance at suggesting a whole new set that is similar to revans(but not named revan) inquisitor model blueprint with a cape. What I am not ok with is the damn NECK WARMER!!.. . Can we at least get rid of that? Keep the shoulder pads that are underneath it, but the neck warmer needs to go! condorrail Posted January 8, 2020 Share Posted January 8, 2020 Okay, so since the original thread in general discussion was derailed horribly, I figured I'd make a new one in honour of the original posters suggestion. Quite simply the premise is as the title suggests. Darth Revan as we knew him from flashbacks, know him from artwork / fan art and little statues and action figures... always had a cape. Even the statue of him in game in the cave near the Revanite camp shows him with a cape. I remember seeing Revan for the first time and feeling a slight twinge of disappointment that he did not have one. Now I believe the original suggestion was to change the chestpiece already in game, which would bother most I imagine. So my suggestion would simply be to add a cape to the chest on a -NEW- item and sell it seperately in the CM. I know I for one would jump on it the day it was released. I'll throw a few screenies for comparison for what it was like, what we currently have and some photoshopped images of what it could be. As you can clearly see from what I am wearing, there are other pieces out there that match Revans set, just not in texture / colour. And lets be fair, clipping is an issue for some, not for others. Bioware / the art team seem to fall under the latter. How many items were introduced / are still being introduced into this game that clip horrendously? What is the name of that chest piece?
