OldTEX Posted April 15, 2014 Share Posted April 15, 2014 (edited) Back pre and right up to 2.0 My Main Character for PvP and PvE was my Powertech Long Story Short our raid Groups Marauder quit the game and we wanted a Bloodthrist, I was the only one With a Marauder so I switched to playing on it Every day. Anyway on to my question, I want to run a Powertech Tank Spec in PvP again as he has been shelved since right after 2.0 I have read the tanking guide to get brought up to speed with the changes to the class since then but I have not really seen what the general Consensus is For PvP Is The full 36 Point Tank Spec the way to go? Is there some sort of Crazy Hybrid i'm not Seeing when I look at the Talent Tree? Currently I'm using a 36/8/2 Tank Build That's Really more of a Bluky Super Annoying DPS kind of thing If you could offer any Tips or Tricks or anything that would be awesome. Aetrus Posted April 16, 2014 Share Posted April 16, 2014 Hi. I don't play my PT as tank, but if I did I would certainly pick up Rebraced Armor, Ion Screen and Coolant. Something like this. As for tips, Oil Slick and Flame Sweep are extremely annoying to melee DPS. Use them liberally around your healer(s) or yourself. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
