Wolfninjajedi Posted April 13, 2014 Share Posted April 13, 2014 (edited) So before in another thread I made, DH is losing the rights to write Star Wars comics come 2015, the rights going over to Marvel. At first I was rather disappointed being that DH has made some great Star Wars comics over the passed years, so perhaps I was a little saddened by the fact Darkhorse isn't going to be working on them anymore. But then I got to thinking.... Perhaps Marvel will do more with Star Wars character wise than Darkhorse has done. Don't get me wrong, DH has done a wonderful job with Star Wars and has written a number of different characters. However not to the scale Marvel comics has done, with having a vast large number of characters to work with. Who knows, perhaps we will see team comics? Maybe more interest in non-force users? How about a comic series delving into Rebel SpecForce or Imperial SpecForce during the GCW? Spies? Criminals? Bounty Hunters?(Apart from Boba/Jango comics) I mean there are a lot of things to write about in the SWU and I see Marvel being able to take that and expand upon it in a big way. Introducing brand new characters and so forth. Maybe even bringing in the more obscure characters into the light? Anyway just wanted to put down my thoughts and wondering if anyone else has any.
